The Orpington Fund
Every pound raised by the Circle supports Liberal Democrat parliamentary by-election campaigns, reflecting the Party's long reputation for winning by-elections and the funds those campaigns require. Members give through event tickets, raffles and auctions, and by regular standing order.
Our purpose, in the Circle's own words
“To raise and disperse funds to support Liberal Democrat candidates in Parliamentary elections, in particular by-elections, and to support other Liberal Democrat candidates in significant elections at the discretion of the Executive Committee.”
Adopted by the membership in 2025.
How to give
The most valued way to support the Fund is a regular standing order — even a few pounds a month is warmly appreciated. To set one up, or to make a one-off gift, please speak to any member of the committee, who can also advise on Gift Aid and the necessary donor checks.
